Want to see 5 of Tampa's popular attractions AND save $$

Do you like to travel? If yes, read on.

Do you like to see the most recommended attractions in every city you visit? Continue, if yes.

Do you like to spend a lot of money frivolously and without regard to budget, leaving your bank account empty at the end of your travels?  If yes, please close your browser and read no further.

One of the easiest ways to see a city's attractions while staying on good terms with your wallet is to see if the city you are visiting has a CityPass.

Since we're in the Tampa/Clearwater area this month, we checked around and discovered that Tampa Bay has a CityPASS, which helps you save on admission fees to the area's most popular attractions.

Here's what it costs:

Adults      $119/ea

Children    $99/ea

Here's what it includes:

Admission to:

1. Busch Gardens Tampa

2. The Florida Aquarium

3. Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo

4. Clearwater Marine Aquarium

5. Your choice of one-- Chihuly Collection -OR-  Museum of Science & Industry

3 Tips to using your CityPASS:

  • It's only beneficial if you plan to visit all of the attractions. If you don't have interest in seeing certain attractions on the list, don't buy the CityPASS. Look for other deals on ticket prices for the attractions you plan to see.
  • The pass is only good for 9 consecutive days from the first day of use. This means, you'll be seeing an attraction almost everyday for one week. If you are vacationing for just a week, be sure that this itinerary fits your family's vacation goals. If you wanted to sit on the beach for most of the vacation, rather than be on the go, this pass may not be a good fit.
  • You can visit the attractions in any order! I especially like this feature, as it allows your family the freedom to design your vacation and the flexibility to change it should the need arise.

The travelers that find the best deals are the ones that RESEARCH a city before, during, and even while there.

When looking at your options, be sure to see if your area has a CityPASS!
